my van came to me with a heat shield installed under carb to manifold - should there be a gasket both between the carb and shield, and shield to manifold - and if so can they both be the fel pro 60085 or should shield to manifold be thinner ? - oo3 |

Is your heat shield made of sheetmetal or is it the more common gasket-material variety? |

Thick gasket (Fel-Pro 60125 will do) between the heat shield and manifold, thin gasket (60085) between heat shield and carburetor. |
