Post subject: | Suspension kit for 67 Valiant? |
I used the McQuay-Norris brand rebuild kit on my Duster and it's been good for a daily driver. Plus I like the fact that they're made in the USA. I can't find anything for a 67 Valiant so I'm trying to find out what years are interchangeable. On one hand they have this kit that's for a 70-72 Valiant. http://www.marketworks.com/StoreFrontPr ... =193211346 Then this kit that's for a 64-69 Barracuda http://www.marketworks.com/StoreFrontPr ... =193201096 The kits look the same but I always figured the suspension parts on a 70-72 car would be closer than what a 64-66 car would have. Anyone know for sure? |

The pitman and idler arms are one-year-only, '67-only items. Everything else is fully interchangeable. |

Ideally, if you scored a '68 or later /6 K-frame then you could lose the '67's stud-type idler arm. |

The idler arm is that way, the pitman arm on my '67 was exactly like the 68-72....The box is now in my '73 with a '73-76 arm and it all fitted up fine...I'd wonder about a box from 1966 for the early '67 production cars...-D.Idiot |
