Whats the difference between the drum brake 67-72 lower ball joints and the 73-76 lower ball joints? Is it fastener size or are the mounting holes spaced differently?

If it's the fastener size I'm thinking I can drill the holes oversize and use the later cheap LBJs.

I don't really want to buy somewhat expensive new early LBJs for a car I plan on upgrading when I find parts to replace the '73+ disc brake swap stuff that was damaged in the accident of my old Valiant.

Why is the rum always gone?

If for the Disc Brake set-up, the two listed ball joint types have different forging shapes... it is not simply a hole size difference.
