Has anyone used Seafoam Trans tune in there push button auto? Just wondering cuz im going to be flusing the system with a wynns flush machine.(hooks up between the trans filter and tranny and flushes the system with new oil and turns the vanish and gunk to liquid to it can be sucked out.) Doing this since i cant find tranny filters any more and my uncle dosnt want to do the swap cuz the car wont be stock and thus will lower is value...is what he says.. |

The in-line trans fliter for the early 904 is still available, you just need to look for them. The latest aftermarket ones I've seen are orange in color but you can always paint it black if you like. It is best to drop the trans pan, clean the screen & pan sump, replace the gasket and filter, then install new ATF and go... no "fancy" flushing needed. (this is basically a standard "service procedure" per the FSM) See this ebag listing for the part numbers on the filter. DD |
