I recently ordered a brand new exhaust manifold and was wondering if there was a recommended procedure used to properly seal the new manifold :?:

I use the POR-15 exhaust manifold paint to seal mine. www.por15.com I really like their products. It comes in three colors however, I prefer the gray.

FACTORY MANIFOLD GRAY™ is a high temp gray paint capable of withstanding extreme temperatures up to 1400° F and will maintain a durable iron gray color that won't burn off.

Their engine enamel is fantastic too...

It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions.

Also, it's rude to have a signature pic as large as yours. Downsize it to not more than 200px tall and/or wide, please, and put the big pics in Slixers' Gallery. Thank you.

As requested I will re-size or just delete.
