as i was working on my car I found the top of my coil full of oil. While the car is still running fine I would assume this is not good and I should think about replacing the coil asap.

Which brings the question should I just replace the coil or consider a electronic distribute and if so what should I look for and what does the install require for wiring.

Does anybody here have one for sale ??

thanks in advance and now I'm off to do some forum research on coils and distributors

Definitely a good time to put in a better ignition system. I strongly recommend the HEI upgrade.

A Standard/BlueStreak or Echlin stock replacement.
