So I pulled a Homer Simpson and tore the headliner in the Dart. Is it very easy/difficult to put in a new one?

No, it's not too difficult, but I'd wait for warm weather or do it in a warm garage. The vinyl will have wrinkles in it and it's a pain getting them out when it's cold.

Just keep track of the bows when you remove them. Some cars are color coded to the correct position and are easy to identify, but some are not. If you have a sail panel with a hard board backing, you will find that the most difficult part of the job. If I was doing another one, I would install new hard board.

For the places you need adhesive, use a high quality spray like 3M and you won't regret it.
