Hi everyone,
I'm new to the site and thought this could be a great place for support now that i purchased a boat with twin s/s on board. I want to keep the motors that came with the boat and my thinking is this way i won't nee to change much in the way of mounting and so forth. i just pulled apart my starboard engine which is reverse rotation and found that the wall between the #1 cylinder and water pump no longer exists now this being my first project i'm assuming the block is junk so i would like your help in finding a replacement if possible.
thank you
Marc

use the search function to find out WAY more, like "reverse rotation" or "marine slant", all kinds of posts and info are to be had. I believe Slantsixdan has a parts book with marine stuff, plus hes very knowledgeable.

If these have been in the salt you may be looking at 2 engines.

For reverse rotation you need cam, starter, oil pump, distributer and change in timing markings on tab. These are needed to change engine rotation because the engine will be turning counter clockwise (standing in front).

Be certain the engine realy is RR, the change in rotation could be made in the final drive.
