Post subject:  Bolt Pattern Needed

Hi. I have a 1967 Dodge D100 with a 727 transmission that has the shifter on the dash.

Would someone be so kind to tell me what the bolt pattern is on the bellhousing and what differences there are from the 318 motor?

Thanks in advance!

We'd need to know what engine it has. Can you let us know, please?

Dash shift, push button shift, or column shift doesn't matter... WHAT does matter is the engine connected to said 727. If its a slant its different than the LA small block, and if this is the one that MIGHT get the hemi it would def be different.

I believe that ALL slant 6 motors with automatic transmission had the same bell housing bolt pattern. There were OEM 727's AND 904s.

Why Ma Mopar did that is a mystery to me. The 904 transmission has shown itself capable of handling large amounts of ttorque and horsepower... and 904 transmission failures with turbocharged and supercharged engines DO happen, but they are relatively rare.

I can't envision a stock, or near-stock slant 6 ever damaging one from its power output. They do wear out, but then so does a 727.

I don't know anything about the manual shift, conventional "non-automatic" transmissions.
