 Post subject: a few lifter ????s

Car Model:
have a solid cam in 68 block,taking it out and placing it in 85 hyrdo block....can I just move lifters from one block to other,keeping on their lobe? or can I reface them???and put them on any lobe? or just buy new ???

It's best to just purchase a new set of lifters & not take a chance of failure.
There is a special machine that can resurface lifters with the correct radius ("crown") on the face but those are getting hard to find.
