hi every one.
I have a d150 slant 6 truck with holley 1920 on it. It tuned very well and gave me no problems for the first few days after installing it. This weekend I took a long trip to a desert camp site that we favor. The truck ran like a charm and the fuel economy was beyond belief. until we hit the dirt road wich is about 30 miles of wash-board (shakes like crazy). When I got to the camp site, the carb was flooding and stalling on every little incline and I lost my fuel economy from there on.

I had took this carb off before for the same reason.

Any clues as to why this happens? Could it be that this cab is not for of road use at all.

The carb probably needs a rebuild (with new inlet needle/seat) and a new float.

Float, get from Walker, part number 100-14.
Kit, get from www.daytonaparts.com .
