I'm running a Carter BBS on my SL6 in a '68 Coronet. The Carter was on the motor when I bought the car. I'm recently starting to have some carb issues and have been looking into rebuilding which in doing some research I have found the '68's should be running with a Holley 1920. Is that correct? If so, is it a easy swap if I change from the Carter back to the original Holley?

Thanks

No, it is not correct that your car "should" have a Holley 1920. Both the Carter BBS and the Holley 1920 were original equipment for most slant-6s in passenger cars between 1962 and 1971; there were a few year-engine-transmission packages that got only one or only the other but for the most part which carb was installed on any particular slant-6 engine depended on which carb came to hand at the carburetor installation station on the assembly line.

Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download.
