so my trans was dead/dead/dead should i sell my stock torque converter or is it toast too...I sold a stock one a while back but it was from a non dead transmission.. thoughts * * * |

Why would you want to put all the stuff from the old converter into a rebuilt transmission (any metal or other such stuff that might be in it) ? Richard |

Dont understand the statement really.. your tranny dies so you are going to sell the converter? Why? but it has all the crud from tans in it also..metal, fibre, etc... If you were thinking of using it in a 'rebuilt' trans it will def need a flush...

never had a dead trans/did not know how bad torque converter was.it's now in the scrap pile... |
