Will my 1970 9" drum hub work with the K-H 4-piston rotors? |

Thanks. I stupidly thought that the only parts I couldn't buy new or rebuilt (yeah, I know...) for the conversion were the spindles and dust shields. I recently read the FSM and realized that the rotors are the kind that attach to separate hubs. So I guess I am now in the market for junkyard hubs & spindles, minimally--and maybe dust shields Are there aftermarket dust shields? I assume someone must sell plastic or aluminum versions for racing. |

This is a link for using much more common and aftermarket supported early mustang sourced KH rotors on an a-body. The main advantage is you can retain your spindle/knuckle/UCA and convert to 4.5 bolt pattern disc brakes. Off course the rear end would still be 5X4" but I just wanted to put some info out there. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/sho ... hp?t=20544 |

Well I wouldn't be retaining my spindles as they are for 9" drums, and I (moreover my wife, who's car it is) likes the stock rims. I'm converting to KH 4-piston and retaining the bolt circle. I'm just trying to glean what all I need to source used before I start buying new parts. |
