Ok, the fuel gauge and sender in my 1952 Chrysler are not working. The gauge will be fixed when I rewire the car next month, but I took the sender out and it is pretty corroded. For now I do have a fuel gauge, Ford/Chrysler type, 81449. I would like to get an universal sender to work with it, but I do not know the ohm range. Also is my aftermarket gauge the same ohm range as my factory one or will I need to change senders again? Any info would really help! Thank you. |

Oh, also, is it possible to mount one of those universal senders to my original tank? |

(not exact but within a small tolerance) The universal sender can be used if thats the range it operates in...
