Where did they ground the battery on the old Lancer/Valiant 60-62 ? I had my battery in the trunk when I got it, it had a gasoline heater under the hood, but now the battery is back where it should be, the question is where did the battery ground to the body and where did the ground between engine and body go ?

Battery negative cable connects to engine block at one of the three threaded holes behind the water pump (holes also used to mount a power steering pump if the car is equipped). Engine-to-body ground is at the rear of the block near the firewall.
