I have scoured all the slant id posts and can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for, so here goes!
I bought a slant yesterday to go into my 76 4-dr Aspen and some of the numbers are missing from the id stamp near the #1 plug. What I have is:
2 then a space, 225r, a space, a "T", then a space, then a 5, then a space and then a 12E. There used to be other numbers/letters but they are worn away. So, again it looks like this:
"2 225R T 5 12E" with characters missing in between. Any ideas?

The seller said her dad had it rebuilt about 5000 miles ago, and has since passed away. Most of the info about the engine died with her father. Her brother helped me load it and only knew that it ran great when he pulled it for a v-8 swap. It had been sitting for about 5 years in the garage, but turns over freely and has had the intake covered and the spark plugs still installed. I would like to know, however, the history of the engine. There are also the stampings of 3 30 82 on the drivers side under the 5 freeze plugs, and a 330 4 stamping also.

I've also noticed that the valve cover bolts have thin triangle washers between the bolt head and the valve cover. Anyone seen this before??

Looks like a 1982-model 225 block with cast crankshaft built for passenger car usage at Trenton Engine Plant on 12 May 1982.
