Hey guys,

I've been doing some research to see what my options are for dual exhaust. The majority of things I was able to find were dutras, Clifford, and hookers. I did however, find an article or two talking about spitfire headers. Are these/were these available? Discussion of them seem to drop off around 2008.

I also wanted to ask which of the above mentioned header/dual set ups would work for F-bodies. I believe I have a high starter (read that for the most part trucks were the only slants with a low starter position). Can't really find anything that says any of them won't fit an F body, just wanted to confirm.

I'm most likely going to go with the dutra set up if I can purchase an already modified exhaust manifold because I don't know how nor have the tools to weld but I'd like to be sure of all my options.

Thanks for all your help,
Aspen76

I have an F-body, '78 Volare, and I've had Dutra Duals on it for years. They work great, and they last.
If this is a street driven car, I say go for Dutra Duals.

I'm with fatcuda on trying to get a hold of Doug. I used his contact e-mail from his web site and no response. I have an 87 D-100 I would like to put headers on and I like the dutra's

Contact me here for the fastest responce...
Truth is, life is real busy these days so I don't check all my different home email accounts as often as I should.

I do have some manifolds available and can make-up rear sections as needed.
In fact, I just shipped a front Dutra manifold out to Fatcuda...
