Are these adjustable? I know some cant be adjusted, it is a 1970 225 slant six and it sounds like a couple of valves towards the back half of the motor are tapping a little. If they can be adjusted does anyone know or have a link to the proper settings for a stock set up? |

Howdy. Yes, you're probably (over)due for a valve adjustment (red text is a clickable link). Tune-up parts and technique suggestions in this thread. Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download. You'll want to get the three books in this thread as quickly as you can, too. |

Thanks for those links man good stuff in there, we will try this weekend to get her sounding like a sewing machine. It's only got 89k on the motor. |
