I know that Aggressive Ted has used a .90 piece of K&S aluminum for a heat shield... But all I could find around me was .32. Will this have acceptable results as a heat shield? |

I think the thickness of the material will not affect the heat shield qualities, but it might be more prone to warping or bending. If you bend in a small 90 degree fold along each edge to stiffen it, it should be fine. I made mine out of .060 and it has held up fine. Sam |
