Hey folks I got a super six manifold and carb and kd linkage and also the accelerator and cable to connect. Question is the carb is a Stromberg WW model which has a post on it and the accelerator cable has a pin and clip to connect.
Anyone have suggestions on hooking it up? Would pictures make it easier to understand the question?
Thanks guys.
John

On the BBDs and Holley 2280s, the clip on the throttle cable slides over the post on the carb and the pin fits into a groove on the post, securing the clip. The one and two barrel carbs used different diameter posts. Therefore, the one and two barrel cable throttle cables used different clips on the end. I have had to drill out one barrel throttle cable clips when doing conversions to Super Sixes.

Pics are best.

Reed's right, and the Stromberg WWs used on passenger car applications have the same linkage setup as the BBDs and 2280s, but some of the truck WWs have a different kind of pin that won't accept the throttle cable.

So yeah: Pics.
