http://www.enginebasics.com/Advanced%20 ... 0Test.html As soon as I saw this I thought about posting it up, with a bit more fine tuning it looks like might be a real winner for guys running a true twin scroll (ie the hx/hy 35 ) turbo soon to be like me lol let me know what you guys think, -Mike |

There's some videos on utube and it appears you can run a larger turbo and get it to spool at lower rpm range. It's a sweet concept |

$500 ??!!!! haha no thank lol, the idea is crazy simple start with the initial cut of metal from inside make a cardboad template, bevel edges for a flusher fit, you can find sotck waste, and mod it IE gently cut the THE VERY TOP off, braze on a thick flange drill and tap some hole for a cover plate, and BAM now you can swap waste gate springs to adjust when it fully opens, hardest part would be drilling a hole STRAIGHT through the turbo exhaust housing. Then which shouldered/collared bushing to pick, brass, bronze or stainless, I would think stainless in a app like this due to the heat, -Mike |
