my friend alos has a 65 and is putting a v8 into it he was wondering if there were any headers that would fit on a 82 318 that would work with a power steering pump, without having to cut stuff up and if he had to cuts stuff up then what type of headers should he get. |

Choices are pretty limited for the early A. Spitfire comes to mind, but it's a crapshoot as to when you'll get them. However, he does make the only set that don't require cutting out the fenderwells. (I think) Post over on Moparts about Harold/Spitfire, someone will give you his phone number.

If you don't mind paying the coin, the old '68-'69 340 HIPO exhaust manifolds will fit with a little massaging where the coupling collar strikes the right side manifold. The sb magnum manifolds might fit, but you would have to try them on for fit. |
