OK I had a dizzy crap out on me it was a solid state pertronix ignitor with the flame thrower coil and im running a nkg cold plug the number 5 I can't recall the whole part number. But I'm switching to a 8 pin hei ignition and it calls for a gap around 040 I've always had the plugs gapped at 028. With the hotter spark that the hei will deliver what should I gap the plugs at? It's a turbo motor
Thanks all!

I just downloaded and read the instructions for the HEI kit I should be getting by the end of the week and it calls for a plug gap of 045 to 050
Here's Alittle bit more info if your not familiar with the build
Blow through carb, no intercooler with meth injection I'm planning on running about 18° of total timing
Thanks

0.028" : too small
0.050" : too big

0.045" : Just right on a normally-aspirated engine

0.035" to 0.040": What I'd start with on a forced-induction engine
