Today while getting the engine ready to install I found that along with the fuel pump, the dizzy was smashed, and the 5 bolt oil pump was broken.THIS is a 86 truck engine that was in my wifes 63 Valiant. I took the 64 6 bolt oil pump and mounted it on the 86 truck engine.Will this work fine? I ordered a 5 bolt pump, but it may not get here in time for my road trip......just hoping that someone here may know for sure. Andrew/Kidd |

Yes Andy you can, just watch the gasket they sometimes are not cut correctly. You could cut out a new gasket from some sheet gasket material if the one in the set won't match the pump. Richard |
