Five more days till the biggest Slant 6 event of the year. Sunday is the day. See 40-50 Slant 6 cars all in one place. See you there. I'm only driving 400 miles RT.

It's that good.

I may be able to get there, too! Not sure exactly when, but I'll try for at least a portion.

No slant six vehicle this time, though. If I park the little 4-banger out of sight around the corner, will I be suitably not shunned? ;)

My sweetie wondered about the possible excitement level to anyone who wouldn't know a slant six if it jumped up and bit someone's rear end... (well, I didn't hear it exactly that way, but that was the essence of the eloquence...) I said the show will likely be entertaining to all. If nothing else, it's a collection of generally really nice people with hearts in the right place... and heaven knows the world could use more of that.

Mapquest is apparently more cognizant of the address than Google. It appears to be near Seaport Village North Shopping Center and Sequoia Yacht Club?

Yes... You can't miss it if you drive out Seaport towards the bay. It's on the left, about the 3rd signal light... look for all the boats parked at the marina.

A perfect day for a car show... not too hot or cold.
50 cars signed-in to the event.
Highlights... I counted 5 63-66 A-Body station wagons at one point... and all were in good to excellent condition.

Over-all, the quality of the cars is getting better & better as we move thru the 21st century, more restorations and "hobby" cars, replacing the all original, daily drivers we use to see.
