Hey all ,
i just picked up 1965 Dodge A-100 90 wb panel van slant six 3 on the tree which is cool , i love vans and i love the slant six , i got it from the original owner , needs some work but you turn the key it starts right up , i have been looking for one of these for awhile now , as soon as i figure out how to put up pics i will , also i know this has been discussed on here before somewhere but i am trying to figure out if it is a 170 or 225 sl6 any help would be appreciated i am going to go thru the van and plan on keeping it as original as possible with the exception of electronic ignition ~~ we will see !

Measure vertical coolant bypass hose connecting water pump to head, if it is a little over an inch long you have a low deck /6 or 170 cid, if the measurement is close to 2 ½ inches it is a 225 cid. 170’s deck is one inch lower than 225 block.

Very nice.
I live about 15 minutes from Volo's Antique Auto Museum where they used to have one just like this all dressed up in a Mystery Machine get up, including shag(gy) carpeting.

Will probably get flamed but here is my machine. It is a 1967 225 slant 6 3 on the tree. Still working on the interior.
