are there any good headers out there for trucks? I've got mine running finally but there is a bad exhaust leak at the manifold. since I have to replace the exhaust I figured I might as well put on some headers and a nice muffler. also what are the symptoms of a cracked intake manifold? I was told mine is cracked but can't physically see any cracks anywhere. Thanks for any help you guys can be! |

Go for the Dutras, cheaper than headers, last longer, and are much easier to live with on the street. |

where is the best place to find dutra duels? I am looking on line and haven't been able to find much on them. what is the ideal manifold vacuum level? and where do i test it? I don't have anything to go off of as far as fuel economy, the truck hasn't been driven more than a couple of miles in the last 8 years (I bought it after it sat that long and have put the few miles on it in the last couple of months) |

You can contact Mr. Dutra here on this board. He posts as "Doc" or "Doctor Dodge." Ideal intake manifold vacuum depends on many things. On a stock slant six in a good state of tune you should see 18-21 inches of vacuum. |
