Post subject:  HEI power supply source options

Hi guys,Just curious....Im about to wire up my HEI conversion.I will use a relay for the power supply of course, but in your experiences what have you found to be the preferred source....the "Bat" terminal on the Alternator would be the neatest option for me,but would a source closer to the battery provide a cleaner source of power for the module? Is the hei module even that fussy? I was also thinking of using a ferrite choke on the power supply to keep noise down.Would be very interested to hear the experiences of other members and their HEI conversions. Thanks,Steve

Yes, the battery terminal on the alternator is a good choice. Read the sticky at the top of this forum it is very in depth on the conversion.
