Post subject:  crankshaft damper/pulley

Adding power steering and A/C to my 65 Cuda. P/S pump located in the stock position, driver side low. A/C hopefully low on the passenger side.

P/S pump and water pump to be driven by a single "v" belt, A/C and ALT to be driven by double "v" belts.

Is a 3 groove "v" belt crank pulley/damper available?

If I were to go with a 6 rib serpentine belt for the A?C, Alt, and bolt the drive pulley to the center of my stock 1 groove "v" belt crank pulley, would that interfere with the dampening function. I beleive so.

Thanks for any comments and suggestions.

Yes, there are sheaves that bolt on the front and back sides of the stock damper. Yes, you will have to remove the damper to install the back one.

PM Charlie_S, he does a neat A/C conversion and sells brackets for the Sanden compressor I believe.
