New to SSF. But figured i'd help out. Got a satin black 70 Valiant (225). And of course, i left my gas cap at the pump about 110 miles from home -on way home from car show- So i did some hunting. Found an OEM replacement through Car Parts Discount. Not the cheapo one with the plastic handle. As if i'd put that on my ride. -Should fit what, 68-72? i believe... http://www.carpartsdiscount.com/auto/pa ... 593=321822 If this has already been posted, or there's another place in the forum i should post these kind of finds, i'm sorry. Hope this does help. |

Was your car built to California or 49-states-plus-Canada specs? It matters for the gas cap. There's nothing such as a '68-'72 gas cap; that's three different and non-interchangeable caps. |

yeah. i was shooting blanks on that year range. But i know it fit my 70 perfectly. no wobble, good seal, exact OEM fit. You're the man, Dan. Right 99.9% of the time. No lie. |
