I contacted the owner of the blog and asked if she had any other picture of my Dart... And guess what? What do you think those antennas were for? CB Radio?? Syed |

POSSIBLY, BUT maybe just an add-on lengthy antenna with a "dummy". Dual antennas were a 'style' of sorts for a while here in the states. Could have also been for governmental radio gear also... |

Those aren't long enough for a decent dual CB antenna system. I second the dummy antenna and government equipment antennas guess. Definitely not a factory option. |

At the risk of dating myself, I remember those antennas and matching dummy ones in the J.C. Whitney catalog. I thought they were pretty cool, but then I was VERY young! ATB BC |

Yes, they were big in the 60's-70's especially on ragtops and evidently still are in San Marcos. I saw these while browsing CL. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/pts/3375708558.html |

Yep those were cool back in the day, I believe the 59 impala's had long ass stock ones. |
