Yes. If you don't have one the transmission will quickly be damaged. |

If you have an automatic transmission the answer is yes. If you have a manual transmission, the answer is no. |

There is always the aftermarket “kick-down†throttle position cable solution. [url=http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LOK-KDP-2904U/]Lokar[/url], [url=http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/BPEtkdc.asp]Bouchillon[/url] made of mostly factory like components, similar to Bouchllon’s [url=http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/kiccabkit1.html]Mancini[/url], and the junk yard cable & bits from rear drive late 80's early 90's dodge truck. |
