Finally got my 77 d100 super sixed, and now my oil dipstick tube is broken off just above the bracket. I can't find one anywhere, also I'm not sure how it goes in. Does it screw in? How can I plug it for the time being?

Should just push in the block, no threads. I've seen every thing from sticks, to wooden dowels to small corks as a 'plug'...

Hey thanks. I actually hammered it closed at the bracket and put some rtv copper on it for the time being. Anyone know where I could get one? Or a part number?
