Hey guys,
I'm looking for a vacuum diagram for my slant six. It is running just fine aside from a bog down on acceleration which I'm attributing to a vacuum leak.
So if anyone has a diagram, that would be excellent. It's in a Dodge d150 if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance fellas!

here is a partial listing of a few....

SMP cans have had the following ink stamps compared to part numbers:

AH-6 VC-184 1973-74-8.5R can
AH-7 VC-185 1973-74-8.5R can
AH-11 VC-239 Super Six 11x can
AH-12 VC-208 Feather Duster 11x can

Vacuum can specs

Number: Start Max

VC-93: 4.9" - 7" / 5.25° @ 13" - 7.5°

VC-173: 7" / 5.3° @ 10" - 7.8°

VC-184: 7" / 7° @ 11.5" - 10.5°

Number: Start Max

VC-185: 9" / 7° @ 15.5" - 10° 8.5X stamped on arm

VC-208: 6" / 10° @ 9" - 11" - 12° 11X stamped on arm

VC-239: 7" / 7° @ 11.5" - 10° 11X stamped on arm

VC-244: 9" / 7.5° @ 6" - 8" - 9.5°

Here is my table of VC208 data (Fri Aug 22, 2008 1:38 pm)

________________________________________
Here is my table of VC208 data:

Number of turns "unscrewed" ……………in. Hg over which advance is applied

……….0…………………………………………………… 1 - 5
……….1 ……………………………………………………1 - 7
……….2…………………………………………………... 3 - 7
……….3………………………………………………….. 4 - 11
……….4………………………………………………….. 5 - 11
……….5 …………………………………………………5.5 - 12
……….6 …………………………………………………..7 - 13

See how unscrewing it makes it come in later, but the base range is nearly constant?

Hope this helps....

He's looking for the emissions and hose hook ups for all the spaghetti under the hood. It sounds like the underhood sticker is missing, in which case you are going to need a factory manual for the truck....

Haha no worries. I do need the information you posted as well, Ted, so thanks!
I seem to remember the Haynes manual not having a vacuum diagram...I'll have to look again.

Go here first:
http://u225.torque.net/haynes_instructions.html

Then try:
http://www.moparmanuals.com/mopar/downl ... atalog.pdf

Or:
http://www.diyrepairmanuals.com/index.html

I use and like the first source I listed. There are others. I've got the busted knuckles and "do over" parts house receipts to testify about Haynes "manuals"!!

Try This...If it's not clear enough, let me know and I'll snap another pic in the AM. Took this one juggling a flashlight and the phone.

This off my '80 D-150.

Thanks Dave, much appreciated! That'll definitely help me out. I think I can work with the picture. It's a little blurry, but I think I can make everything out okay. Thanks again!
