Is this the only part that differentiates a stock distributor from an electronic? I found one on eBay and if all I have to do is swap it into the stock distributor, I'll take it. |

It would be nice BUT, don't think you ever looked at an electronic distributor. Go to the library and look in the mopar section of a motors , Chilton or one of the rest of the auto repair books. |

Post subject: | NOS distributor looks good |
That NOS distributor looks good, I got my distributor at wrecking yard, paid $35 for all you can pack out. So got 2 or 3 plus a lot of other things. The electronic has a control box it will have 4 or 5 wires on a plug that is held in place with a screw. Beter yet look in the articles section for ignition up grades should answer a lot of you questions before you have to ask them. Also the advance rates are controled by 2 springs under the plate, and the total advance is controled by the length of the two slots in the plate there should be a number stamped on the plate if it is 15 the total advance is 30 degrees. Get back to me if you have more questions. |
