Post subject:  Pennsylvania College of Technology 'Dyno Dart'

I have provided a link to a video below of the Penn College '67 Dart GT running on our new Mustang Chassis dyno. This car is one of a few vehicles that will be used in a new automotive class (Aftermarket Bolt On Accessories) starting this Spring '13 semester. The Dart will provide some flexibility for teaching while all the other cars are late model OBDII which provide other opportunities for performance tuning. The engine in the Dart is a .060" over 225 that is rebuilt to stock specs with a rebuilt 904 into a 7 1/4" 2.93:1 rear. Everything mechanical has been rebuilt and is to stock specs except I added electronic ignition to the vehicle. I will keep you posted on the progress of the vehicle during the next semester.

For those that may not know me I have two Darts of my own, a '69 with a 340 that I drag race (Beaver Springs Dragway Outlaw Street track champion 2011 & 2012) and a '75 Dart Swinger with the 225/904 that I drive on the street.

Have a nice holiday,

Chris H.

Very cool Chris!

Give some thought to coming down to Mason Dixon Dragway (Hagerstown Md.) in the Spring and racing the Slant 6 car with us. We'd love to meet you and you would get to meet a lot of the people on here behind the key boards!

Rick
