Post subject:  Who can help me?
Need help from you all, has anyone in the Los Angeles area had any positive experience with a quality rebuilder (engine/Trans). Most shops From my experience have no idea what a slant six is. The car is 63 Dart GT Last overhauled during Nixons second term in office! any leads apperciated. Uncle Sams keeps me busy so no time to do my own. :(

Get the latest issue of Mopar Muscle. There's an article in there about building a Slant using an engine builder in LA. I know people have had Slant work done at Valley Head Service in Van Nuys or N. Hollywood or something close to there. Also, there's a very good, but not terribly cheap, machine shop in Pasadena - talk to Steve Fekete at Hollywood Machine Shop on Walnut. He does excellent work. I just moved out of LA, BTW.

Think I will try your guy in pasadena as I am after some performance improvements, Now if I could get someone to replace me overseas I would have time to devote to the project and assemble my own! Once, again thanks............. :D
