I never heard from him again, Mark. He had posted a picture of a chamber that he claimed was what he was working on. It appeared to be a canted valve design. Not really sure what he was up to.

Slantzilla, Back a couple months, FastOne on Moparts board posted a picture of a possible slant replacement head with canted valves...sounded like he was going to provide you with more info later. Did you ever find out any more info on that head? thanks, mark |

Hi, I still need to assemble the head, the shortblock is done. I also need to finish the oiling system (swinging pickup in pan and mount the Peterson pump, and plumb it). This is still the 'old' motor, not the one J&M did...never enough time-too many projects. Hopefully, I'll have it ready for the opener at TriState in late April. thanks for the info, mark |
