Post subject:  super six throttle bracket issues at the junkyard
i just aquired most of a super six set up for 35 bucks from a junkyard i still need to go back and get the kick down linkage and the throttle cable bracket the reason i didnt get these two items is because one i couldnt get under the car or get my arm down there from the top to get the kickdown and two the bolts snaped off inside the exhaust manifold for the throttle cable bracket is there an easy way of getting the bolts out so i can get the bracket i need it seems like the holes are threaded in the manifold its self or it might just be rust welded either way i dont know can some one give me advice

Pretty sure the manifold itself is threaded. I just grabbed the bolts with some visegrips wherever I could and turned them out.

ok i guessi'll snag a pair of vice grips from my dad :twisted: and see how it goes if that dont work i'll cut em :shock: :twisted: in half just to get em out

Yeah you can definitely get 'em out of there one way or another. If need be, you can drill the bolts right out of where they thread into the manifold and then just use a nut beneath to hold the assembly together. Pretty sure that's what I did on mine a few years back.

thats one of my ideas i wouuldnt mind a extra nut or two
