I figure it's about time I started a thread for my car. To see pictures, click the link in my signature. I bought this car in 2005, when I was 17 years old, in Virginia Beach. After driving it for a year to high school (and one trip to Knoxville, TN to visit the University I would later go to), it got parked in my Dad's yard and rested there for about six years, until I graduated college, got commissioned in the Navy, and moved to Charleston, SC, where the car now resides in my garage. Immediate plans: Disc brake conversion (all parts acquired) Front suspension rebuild (kit ordered from ESPO) BBP 7.25" rear end installed (bought a while back on the forum) New tires and rims There's a troublesome exhaust leak where the farthest forward exhaust manifold stud is broken. I'm trying to convince the wife to let me sell my '07 caliber and put some money into the Dart so it can be my driver...we'll see. |

Nice Dart! I love green cars, especially green interiors. It is a shame they don't make them any more. I have much respect for your decision to sell your 07 car to put money in your Dart. |

That green interior is one of my favorite things about the car. I just need to get new upholstery for the front bench... |

Disc brake conversion and front suspension rebuild is nearly complete. Just need to rebuild and install the calipers, bench bleed the master cylinder, and add tons of brake fluid and bleed the new front lines. Pictures to follow shortly... |

Well anyhow I can't get pictures to post here, but the link in my signature will take you to them. I removed probably over 60 lbs of undercoating from the front end of the car. Front suspension kit from Espo Junkyard spindle, upper control arms found in FL on vacation 15x8 wheels from craigslist. They're made by eagle alloys I think. 225/60R15 tires. I went as cheap as I could find. New stainless steel front brake lines from Right Stuff Detailing (getdiscbrakes.com) I should have the calipers on, brake lines filled and bled, and right height set by Monday. Hopefully then it will move (and stop) by its own power for the first time in about 7 years. |

http://youtu.be/jHvqyDXgiMQ The front end needs alignment bad, but she'll get on to the trailer for the move to her new home in Groton, CT. Looks pretty goofy with the new rims up front and the old ones out back. |
