Dropping in to say hi and also to show off Lillian. Bought her about 6 months back with just a little over 40,000 miles on the odometer. She has a 225. I've done more on motorcycles than cars. So I'm learning alot.

I'm only 24 so car insurance is stupid high me. So I keep her in the neighborhood to play it safe. I turn 25 in the next few months, insurance will be cheaper then. In the mean time I'm saving money and debating whether or not to rebuild the engine myself(along with my stepdad) or pay some one to.

On the inside there's a single split in the dash vinyl. And under the hood shes a bit dirty. Hence why I want to rebuild and upgrade. Time will tell what all will happen.

Very nice! A green six cylinder Dart sedan is a great way to keep the insurance rates low. Imagine if you were insuring a red v-8 Mustang!

I agree. Sedan should save me money. And I'm not looking to race the thing. I would like to show the car. And make it economical for me to drive.

Thats a great looking car and clean too. What makes you say an engine rebuild? If the body is an indication of the care it received the engine should be good, and only requiring tune-up items.
I got back into slant 6 cars in '07 and bought a similar car to yours. Mine is a '72 Valiant with a 225. It had 43,000 miles at the time and was a little smokey but after a few oil changes and regular driving and tune up/valve lash it cleaned right up and is still going strong today. I did upgrade the top end, recently, to a super 6 set up but only because I can't stop fiddling with it. It would have been perfectly fine the way it came originally from Ma Mopar.
nice car and welcome!

I have a few oil leaks. mainly the transmission and oil pan gaskets. Id like to pull the engine, get it blasted, painted and buttoned back up.
