Post subject:  rough idle and missing

Hello everybody I'm new to the forum and wanna say hi.
Me and my girlfriend have had an 82 Plymouth gran fury for about a year now a d starting to have some problems.
It has about 214,000 miles on it and to my knowledge it has never had a rebuild. The motor seems to be in relitivly good shape.
The only thing that worries me is when I start In the morning it is really rough sounds like it is missing on at least two cyliders as it warms up it gradually gets smoother untill it reaches running temp (180) then it idle smooth with a miss every now and then
I am looking forward to learning from this great forum and thank you in advance

Sounds like the choke may-be in need of repair or adjusting.
Test by manually (slowly) opening the choke flap, once the engine starts, to see if more air helps the engine smooth-out.

Has the air filter been changed recently?
Have the spark plugs and wires been changed recently?

I will try messin with the choke when I get a chance.
When we got the car we put new plugs, wires, and distributer cap and rotor on it.
I believe they got the cap and rotor from auto zone and got the really cheap one could that have somethin to do with it.
Also the last time I checked the plugs one was completely fried any idea what could make this happen
The plugs are auto lites.
And the air filter is a liftime air filter and is cleaned at every oIl change
Thank you for the reply.

If I had the money would absolutely love to be there but I can barely afford to keep gas In the car.
I've been thinkin about a possible rebuild but money is tight right now. what are the thoughts on just a rering. I know the car burns oil but the oil pan also leaks I little and don't have the resources to change the gasket right now so not really shure how much it is burning, and what spark plugs and gaskets would you guys recommend for a daily driver.
I have to add a quart of I oil about every two weeks.
By the way I love you car good work very clean. I will try to get some pics posted asap.
