Mopars Invade Mo-Kan Dragway, March 29 & 30, 2013. Saturday's slant 6 shoot out 1/4 mile bracket winner receives a new Winchester 12gauge pump action shotgun! Friday night 1/8 mile slant 6 gates open at 6PM. Saturday gates open at 10AM No additional entry fee for the slant 6 brackets, just $16 for car and driver. Any slant 6 powered car is welcome. Mo-Kan Dragway is just north of Asbury, Mo

I am considering Coming with "Ruster" as long as weather etc. looks good. Are the Friday Fun Drags night essentially a test n tune with the slant 6 1/8 Mile race tacked on? Greg |

Friday night is just a slant 6 bracket added to the Fun Drags. The track will have most of the time 50 to 80 cars for Fun Drags. The MoPar race has had around 80 cars in years past. |

Yes, you can make as many passes as possible on Friday night. TNT is 1/4 mile. When we want the Slant 6 bracket I'll just go to the tower and ask them if it is a good time for the assault on the 1/8 mile. |

I found out this morning I am off that Friday and Saturday. If I can steal a running Slant car I just might be able to make this.

Dennis, See if somone around will lend you a car.. Between the Brents, the Simmon's and the Indy Boys there HAS to be somone near you that you can get a rent a slanter from.... And oh yeah what about those Buzzin half duzzin boys Blaine and Mike from Lexington? Wow, 6365Abody That would be quite a track fro you - It's right at about 1000 Miles one way for me and You are about 300 Miles further East than Me in PA... Maybe stop down at the Mason dixon race, Hagerstown Maryland in may! Greg |

Come and grab the GodsRods Duster. You can pick it up the same time as the truck... Oh wait! Your little 4.6 Dakota would have a problem trying to tandem tow both of those home. Just take your pick. It's yers if ya want it. Ran a 13.75 at Clay City. I thought your "340" Duster was a runner.

Motor runs in the 340 car, but it needs all the brakes done and all.the lines replaced. Not real wild about dragging a car that had been sitting 7 years out to a race in MO. Thanks for the offer of your car, but that would be too much driving in a werkend, even for me. I,m going to see Bill Sunday. Maybe I can talk him out of his Dart. |
