got some money saved up and i plan to order a new gas tank and sending unit for my 63 Dart and i wanted to make sure i get the right one, havn't shopped around a lot price wise so if there is a good place that is cheaper that is safe to use feel free to let me know. Car is a 1963 dodge dart with the 170 in it

Last month I ordered the same Spectra Premium tank from RockAuto for my 64 Dart.

Part# CR11A (TNKCR11A)
Price $162.79
Shipped to CA for $28.74

I noticed the JCWhitney part number is slightly different (CR11F) but it appears to be the same tank to me.

Check it out, RockAuto tank is much cheaper.

Spectra tank is beautiful, went in without any trouble. It came with a new sender gasket but not the filler tube gasket.

i'm a little leary about using them, a few friends of mine had issues not getting the right part or getting a cheap knock off brand instead of the brand they ordered....

with the sending unit price is only about $30 different shipped

I ordered my tank through Advanced got the Spectra tank and sending unit, also if I had any issues I can return it locally to them without much hassle.......seems like it was competitively priced, might have paid more but got the Spectra tank and sending unit for sure not a knock off brand, have seen the knock off's on EBay so be careful what you buy...........

I'd get the American Designers (made in Canada) unit. They are about $140 plus $30 shipping. You could also save another $30 by getting the zinc plated version that is made in Taiwan. Both come with the lock ring/gasket, but not the filler neck grommet.
