Will a door off a 69 valiant fit my 72 dart? I have found one in mint condition and I want to be sure it will fit

If it's a 2dr, no. If it's a 4dr, the front should, the rear probably won't. In '69, 2dr Valiants were sedans, '72 Darts were hardtops. The sedans have a frame around the window, hardtops don't. Darts have a longer wheelbase than Valiants by 3",the difference should be in the rear doors on a 4dr.
