on the 76 Dart, the dash illumination is piss poor. I think there are only 3 bulbs for illumination. are there higher output bulbs available??? |

I think the stockers are 158's, but you can use 194's for a bit more brightness if needed.-D.idiot |

I think the recomendation is 194s for the illumination, 158s on individual lights. the cluster interior is also painted baby blue. Not sure why. I guess if I repainted it white, I'd get more reflected light. |

If it takes #194, you can swap to #168- these are rated at 40-50% more output. I'd also connect the cluster & put a temporary ground on it so that you can (carefully) flip it towards you while it's hooked up in the car. Then take voltage readings at the illum bulb contact points on the circuit board- you want to see what voltage is actually reaching the bulbs. |
