Post subject:  Blue engine, black valve cover?

Hey guys,
Just finished doing all that needs doing on my truck for a little so now I'm into the little things.
Installed a super six set up, power steering, and today I had 2.25" exhaust with a flowmaster HP 2 and 40 series. Sounds pretty slick. Nice and quiet but with an awesome deep rumble when you step on it.
Adjusted my valves today too--never done it before. Wasn't hard and definitely made a big difference. They were all way loose before I set them.

So anyway, my question! Just wondering if anyone has a picture of a mopar blue engine with a black valve cover. I think it would look pretty slick but I can't seem to find any pictures of it. Maybe with some mopar blue accents on it...like the oil cap and the breather maybe. Thoughts or pictures would be excellent!

Thanks guys.

Thanks! Looks pretty slick. Where did you get that valve cover? Is it an offenhauser?

No it is a Clifford I won a $200 gift certificate and used it to buy the cover.

Ah okay. They are a little spendy eh?
I'd love to get one like that and paint the tops of the fins the same blue as the rest of the engine and the rest gloss black
