Gary has confirmed the Knoxville race for July 26 , 27 as we discussed at the banquet. He will give us race details a little later. Courtney is working on staging a car show at her high school on Sat July 26th. When she gets it worked out she would like the racers to display cars on sat from 10:00 till 2:00. Again more information on this will follow as soon as she gets all the plans worked out.

Well I guess am slow on the draw... I was getting on here to post the date and Ron bet me to it.

IN OTHER NEWS....

I made my first pass on Friday the 26th at I-40 Dragway in Crossville. My little car ran great, best time 11.74 and 60.67mph in a 1/8 mile. I on the other hand am still trying to figure out how to stall it up without accidentally jumping the staging line... But I am getting better. On my last two passes I did a very small short hop and did much better at the line.

I had hoped to get to play a little longer, I got in 6 passes and Rodney did 2, but the over head sprinklers kicked in and just wouldn't turn off.
