Post subject: | JW ULTRABELL FOR /6's |
I've been in contact with JW transmissions to make an ultra bell so we can put 998's, 999's, and a500 overdrive units behind our /6's. They need to have enough requests to produce it. Any help from the rest of you guys would be greatly appreciated. Please send them an email or give them a phone call. I got in contact with andyf from arengineering for an adapter plate, but he got rid of his equipment to produce it. |

If you did your .org search, Andy sold the cad/cam files to me and as typical only 3 people wanted them, but for that small of a run the cost was out of the typical end user's pocket, and making a cost effective run of 10 units left me with holding the bag on 7...so.. I believe I sold the cad/cam files to Doctor Injector (lock stock and smoking barrels they are now 100% him) and he would be able to tell you what the plan is for them. Currently since a fair amount of people tossed in on the 200R4 adaptor there may not be that many who will pitch in for the A-500 adaptor at this time (especially since the A-500 requires a fair amount of cutting on the floor pans to fit right compared to the 200R4). FYI. -D.Idiot |

I still get requests for those adapters on a fairly regular basis. I didn't know you had passed the design on. I've been sending people to you. |

I appreciate it, but there just wasn't enough interest to get a full run going (out of the 6 requests I got over the last 2 years 3 of them asked if it was going to cost over $200...so that was a bust there). One of our members made a deal and he owns the files/designs wholesale now. I'm not sure about his disposition on making a run, but at least members know who to contact now if they are looking for one.Good to hear from you Andy, -D.Idiot |

Never thought to put the 200R4 behind the slant, even though I looked at it for my chevy 235. Alaways a day behind on thoughts it seems. Good to know that ppl have done it though. |

I must have. I know I just really started reading and looking here within the last month even though I created an account almost a year ago. Last post was Mar 10th so I probly did overlook it somehow. Maybe next up Ill do an FAQ page on diff trans to /6 (t5,200r4,nv,etc) That way the ones that have so many pages (11 in this case) dont get lost and can be referenced. Id think with 11 pages almost all /6-200r4 questions would be answered. Thanks D.I. for the link. |
